Children’s Progams

The library offers a number of programs and events for kids and families that are free and open to the public–from story hours, to crafts, to magic shows. Below are some of our regular programs. Check our calendar of events to see what is happening.

Story Hour
Story hour for children age 3 to 5 takes place every Thursday at 10:00am at the library from September through May. Children will listen to a story, make a craft, and meet other children.

Kid Crafternoons
Join us at 4:00pm on the 3rd Friday of the month to make a fun craft in the library. We will provide all the materials, you bring the creativity! This program is for children aged 8 to 12.

LEGO Club
Join us on the 2nd Monday of the month from 4:00 to 5:00 for LEGO open play. Take part in a new building challenge each month while having fun with friends. We bring the LEGOs, you bring the creativity!

Children’s Summer Reading Program
Each summer we offer a Children’s Summer Reading Program, beginning in the first week of July. Children can read books, earn prizes, and participate in fun activities centered around an annual theme. For more information on this year’s program, check out our Summer Reading page.
