Adult Programs

The library offers a number of programs and services for adults that are free and open to the public, from guest speakers, to books discussions, to crafts. Some of our regular programs are listed below. Check our calendar of events often to see what other exciting programs we offer.

Adult Book Group
Our adult book group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11:00am at the library. Join us for a lively discussion about our monthly book pick while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and some light snacks. Copies of each month’s book are available at the circulation desk. New members are always welcome!

Adult Coloring Group
Join us every Thursday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for a relaxing afternoon of coloring and creativity. The library provides all materials. This program runs from September thru June.

Knit for a Cause
Our knitter’s group knits and crochets items to be given to charities–from hats for members of the armed forces, to hats and mittens for children, to cat mats for the Humane Society. The group meets every Tuesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the library. Whether you are an expert or just starting out, come by and join us. Yarn and patterns are provide, but feel free to bring your own.

Adult Summer Reading Program
Each summer we offer an Adult Summer Reading Program, beginning in the first week of July. Read books, earn a chance to win prizes, and participate in fun activities centered around an annual theme. For more information on this year’s program, check out our Summer Reading page.
