Candidates' Night at the Library
Chamberlin Library is hosting our annual Candidates' Night moderated by Marshall Buttrick on Thursday, February 25th from 7 - 8 p.m.  You are invited to meet and speak with all candidates for Greenville public office and school board.  This event is scheduled for live broadcast on Community Channel 21.

Free tax help now available
Chamberlin Library and AARP are offering free tax assistance every Friday from 9;30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. starting February 5th and going through April 9th.  Preference is given to elderly and low-income residents of Greenville.  Bring your tax records and documents.  For more information, call the library at 878-1105.

Free Movie at the Library - BOLT
Chamberlin Free Public Library and the Greenville Recreation Department will have a free showing of Bolt, starring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus at the Town Hall Meeting Room on Saturday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m.  This movie is rated PG and runs 96 minutes.  Join us for a movie and a snack.

Adult Reading Group February Selection

This month's selection for the Adult Reading Group is The Ginger Tree by Oswald Wynd.  Join us on Tuesday, February 23rd for discussion and refreshments.  Copies of the book are now available at the library.  We hope to see you there!

Chamberlin Free Public Library Trustees normally meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings are open to the public.  Our next meeting is March 2nd, 7:00 p.m.

Astronomy Nights - Mars, Saturn and Friends

Our next program in the continuing series Astronomy Nights "Mars and Saturn" will be presented Monday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m. at Chamberlin Free Public Library, Greenville, NH.  Mars is making its closest approach to Earth in a number of years and interest in the "Red Planet" is on the rise.  Saturn, with its ring system now starting to open again, is one of the most beautiful sights in the solar system .  Join us as we discuss these extraordinary planets and if the weather cooperates, we will view Mars through a telescope and look at some of the deep-space wonders near them in the sky.  Chamberlin Free Public Library is located at the Town Hall, 46 Main St., Greenville, NH.  If you have any questions, please call us at 878-1105.

Greenville Centennial Booklet Now Online
The 1972 Greenville Centennial booklet is now available online in our Town History and Records section.  The creators of this booklet have graciously allowed us to scan and publish this remarkable source of Greenville history.  Simply click on the page you want to view!

Chamberlin Fall & Winter Hours
Beginning Saturday, September 12th, Chamberlin Free Public Library's Fall & Winter hours go into effect.  We will be open on Saturdays until Memorial Day Weekend.

Free Passes to Fitchburg Art Musem
Chamberlin Free Library has obtained season passes to the Fitchburg Art Museum located at 185 Elm St., Fitchburg, MA.  Their hours are Wednesday - Friday 12:00 to 4:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The passes are available to all patrons in good standing and can be picked up at the library.  If you'd like to reserve a pass for a particular day, please call us at 878-1105.  In addition to providing admittance to the Fitchburg Art Musem, these passes are good at eleven other museums in the New England area.  Call or drop by the library for details. For further information about the Fitchburg Art Museum, log on to: www.fitchburgartmuseum.org

Knitting Group Going Well
"Knit for a Cause" has been very successful. We have finished three shawls for hospice and three scarves which will be donated to our local St. Vincent de Paul Society. New knitters are always welcome. Come join us Tuesdays at 1 PM.
