June Adult Book Group Selection
This month we are reading Could Have Been Worse by Rebecca Rule. New members are always welcome, copies
of the book are available at the library. Join us Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 at 10 AM for discussion and refreshments.

Chamberlin Summer Hours
Beginning Saturday, May 23rd, Chamberlin Free Public Library's summer hours go into effect. We will be closed on
Saturdays until September 12th. All other days remain the same.

Office Productivity Using Open Office 3.0
Chamberlin
Free Public Library is offering a free series of classes on installing and using Open Office 3.0. Open
Office is a free, open source alternative to other commercially available office productivity suites. Almost any employment opportunity requires competency in word processing,
spreadsheet and presentation applications. Open Office provides you with these tools and much more.
These classes will be offered on four Mondays from 6 – 7:30 pm. May 18, Installing and configuring
Open Office June
1, Writer (word processor) June 8, Calc, (spreadsheet) June 15, Impress, (presentation) Please call the library
at 878-1105 to reserve a spot at these classes. Everyone attending will receive a free copy of the program
on a CD.

Free Passes to Fitchburg Art Musem
Chamberlin Free Library has obtained season passes to the Fitchburg Art Museum located at 185 Elm St., Fitchburg, MA.
Their hours are Wednesday - Friday 12:00 to 4:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The passes are available
to all patrons in good standing and can be picked up at the library. If you'd like to reserve a pass for a
particular day, please call us at 878-1105. In addition to providing admittance to the Fitchburg Art Musem, these passes
are good at eleven other museums in the New England area. Call or drop by the library for details. For further

Knitting Group Going Well
"Knit for a Cause" has been very successful. We have finished three shawls for hospice and three scarves which will
be donated to our local St. Vincent de Paul Society. New knitters are always welcome. Come join us Tuesdays at 1 PM.
